Being a problem solver means thinking innovatively, or out of the box. Math problems give students the opportunity to become problem solvers. It teaches students to. challenge themselves, to push their boundaries and to find more than one solution. Being a problem solver is not only important in math but in real world situations. I believe teachers should challenge their students to. be problem solver, for it provides students with skills that are essential for success in life.
